I have no real updates, only random weird news. This article is about how Senator Robert Ford wants to outlaw profanity with offenses punishable with up to 5 years in prison or $5,000 in fines.
This man should be nowhere near politics, wasting taxpayer money on something this ridiculous. He should be charged and made to reimburse the taxpayers for this waste.

Blog Problems
Since I've started using blogger.com for all my journaling needs I've noticed a strange problem with cross posting to my LiveJournal account. I have my blogger.com account set to email my post to livejournal and post it that way.
What seems to be happening is at some point the formatting gets stripped from my post. What began on my blogger site as a nicely formatted post with paragraphs and everything becomes a block-like turd on LJ.
I've had blogger send the email to my address and it looks like the problem may be the way that LJ parses the email. I'm including HTML line break codes to see if that fixes the problem.

Screw you MPAA, RIAA, AAA, AARP
Okay the last two don't really deserve the harsh langauge. I like my triptiks and plan on living long enough to take advantage of the benefits of being an AARP member... but my point is:
Monty Python has a youtube channel. They have uploaded their own HQ quality clips and even replaced the most popular clips from youtube with new HQ ones. While the rest of the movie/music/television industry is complaining about how sites like youtube are ripping them off the nice Monty Python chaps are offering their content for free.
Has this hurt their DVD sales? Apparently not. Since the inception of the Monty Python Youtube channel their DVDs have jumped to the number 2 spot on Amazon.com's bestseller list and sales of their DVDs have increased over 20,000 percent.

Chrysler Buys Ads Thanking You For Tax Money, You Get Pissed, Chrysler Censors You
This is an article posted to the Consumerist.com. The comments are pretty much what I expected to see.
Here's a sad little saga. After convincing our government that it was responsible enough and commercially viable enough to deserve a multi-billion-dollar bailout, Chrysler spent some of the money taking out full page ads in The Wall Street Journal and USAToday, thanking America for its money. They also posted these ads proudly on their blog. The reaction from actual Americans was, um, harsh.
The blog post in question had been gathering comments up until, we can only assume, it was pulled after becoming popular on Digg about 6 hours ago.
Thankfully Google has a cache of the page, so you don't have to miss it
