I've been dealing with a customer on an order that I did on 12/19/08. This was an order to Cancel about a dozen LLCs for one of our larger NY customers. Today we got a call from the firm in Houston who claims to own the companies wondering why we cancelled these companies without their authorization.

So we have to figure out who actually owns the companies and determine if we can un-cancel them or if we have to tell this Houston customer to stuff it. Both companies have records showing ownership of the LLCs Our records indicate that these belong to the Houston firm. The Houston company wants us to file the Corrections making the company active again and eat all the charges. We can't do that without making sure the NY company does not actually own them.
To top it all off the Houston company has a closing this afternoon which requires that these LLCs be in good standing and the people in the NY company aren't available.
